Our Holy Patrons

Our Holy Patrons

We are surrounded by a "cloud of witnesses", of which we feel a special intercession and whose teaching and example help us "to run with endurance the race that lies before us, our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and creator of our faith "(Heb 12.1-2).

Who are they and why:

The Holy Virgin Mary, our Mother and Queen of Love and Peace.

St. Michael the Archangel, help in the fight against evil.

St. Joseph, perfect husband and servant of Mary, to whom we entrust all material needs of our community.

St. John the Apostle and Evangelist, the disciple loved by Jesus and consecrated as the first to the Virgin Mary at the foot of the Cross.

St. Matthew the Apostle and Evangelist, for its readiness to follow Jesus. On the day of his feast, on September 21st, was born our Community. The Chapter 10 of St. Matthew's Gospel is the basic text of our community and our missionary experience.

St. Francis of Assisi, lover of evangelical poverty and example of simplicity and joy.

St. Catherine of Siena, anointed by divine wisdom. Her teachings and writings, especially the Dialogue of Divine Providence, are fundamental in our spiritual formation.

St. Rita of Cascia, the Holy of the impossible, model of patience, perseverance, and participation in the Lord's Passion.

St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, depository of the revelations and teacher of the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort, apostle and teacher of the True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the perfect consecration to Jesus, the Incarnate Wisdom, through Her.

St. Therese of the Child Jesus, model of smallness and teacher of the little way of love.

St. Faustina Kowalska, apostle of Divine Mercy and the Merciful Jesus.

St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, example of priestly holiness, intercessor and charismatic master of the spiritual life.

St. Teresa of Calcutta, example of charity towards the poor.

The Holy Pope John Paul II, for his example of fatherhood, of missionary life in our time, because of his teachings and because our community was born during his pontificate and blessed by him in a special way in the persons of our founders on 28th of June 2002.
